2025 Understanding Traumatic Grief Conference


The Traumatic Grief Conference is a unique and essential event that brings together professionals, experts, and individuals who are passionate about understanding and addressing traumatic grief.  This conference serves as a platform for gaining knowledge from local subject matter experts and also sharing experiences, and strategies to support those who have experienced the profound impact of traumatic loss.

Dr. Ted Rynearson and Dr. Steve Juergens will lead us in powerful conversations about the impact of addiction and overdose on grief for individuals and families.

ADDITIONAL SPEAKERS INCLUDE:

  • Paula Becker, author of The Little Book of Self-Care for Those Who Grieve and A House on Stilts: Mothering in the Age of Opioid Addiction, and Dr. Barry Brown share their family’s story through addiction and grief.
  • Jennifer Levin, PhD, author of The Traumatic Loss Workbook, will be speaking on: Illuminating the Guilt, Regret and Blame of Traumatic Grief.
  • Experience Momentum, an integrated wellness center, discusses the physical impact of grief.
